Thanks for the summary homie. That really helped clarify Ash as a whole.
So, any word at all on a console version or even western localization?

SNK has always made their games as universal versions with multi language options included and available from the dip switch menu (albeit, to change the game from japanese to another language you have to know a little japanese, I remember helping arcade cabinet operators back in the day).

If you put attention to it, you'll realize that the game was available on chinese prior to it's very own release.

Full story summary, apparently from MMCafe, but I scanned the whole KOF XIII thread and I couldn't find where this was posted.

Oh, and that "full story summary" I don't think it comes from the mmcafe either, har har har.

For what I know about the story (kof anniversary site & XIII revealed info) is about right.

Ok, I knew Leona was basically jail bait to Ralf.
But if did Ralf sky jump in rank?
There is a large gap between Colonel and a lowly Lieutenant...for real.
Esp. with his temper, seems it should be the other way around.

Unless, he was already a high rank from wherever army his came from his own country.
And over 30 for Clark and only a Lieutenant?

Pretty positive overall, but we're still not getting response from the guys who've been playing 2k2 forever (guys who don't play anything else which is seemingly a majority). It's still a few days, we won't know until later on whether this is a success commercially.

I'll try translating the Kyokugen Team ending:

After the tournament, the team gets interviewed. Interviewer starts with Yuri and inquires her views on the efforts put in by her teammates.　Yuri replies that she feels everyone has truly put in their best in this tournament. The interviewer moves on to more private questions and asks Yuri about her ideal lover. Yuri thinks of an answer. Meanwhile,　Takuma is wondering why Robert is so anxious and holding a ring. Then he realises with shock that Robert is planning to propose to Yuri and it quickly changes into anger...

Robert: Yu,Yuri Cha- !!!!!! (Gets stomped on foot by Takuma)
King: ?
Yuri: I guess, he should be a stronger man than my father?
Interviewer: I see. How about your ideal husband?
Yuri: Hmmm...
Takuma: Uh hum! Yuri, you are still too young for marriage..!!!! (Robert take revenge, stomping duel ensues)
Yuri: Mmmm this is difficult- he should be caring, a gentleman, neat... oh yea! Someone like King-san! (Gets slapped on head by King)
Ryo: If King is to become part of our family, I'll also be happy!
King: Eh? Er, no... (Blushes deep red)
Yuri: Mou-, King-san is so shy!
King: Yuri-san! Stop saying things that can cause a misunderstanding!
Ryo: King, you are welcome to stay at our dojo! That way you can also train anytime you want!
