Only if you were actively using the network on your computer, I would think.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Anti-K' and you are on opposite coasts :p

Anyone considered recording some of our online matches yet? Would be kinda cool, plus with replays coming soon, it might be easier to pick out the best ones.

Not yet sure which version to get, but I'll try to get either of them this week. If not that, then maybe next month - who knows.

This is something I might look into at some point, although I'd much prefer doing it after the replay functionality is released so that I can pick and choose the best ones (and also so that I don't have to be playing while my computer processes the video + audio output).

I don't think my laptop accepts HDMI inputs, though (it outputs over HDMI fine, but I don't know if those ports can be used both ways).

Probably - but every match I played last night was super laggy; even moreso then our matches or the experience I had at a friends the following night. And it seems my TF2 experiences are always worse when the machines left on. I'll haveta try SFIV again today with the computer off

Also imo you guys probably don't need to be apologising for using x character or stuff it's just a game amongst friends ... and it's in the game just do whatever is necessary to win haha

Got a 60GB 360 yesterday, alongside a 12+1 month Gold subscription, a few pack-in games (Gears of War 2, Lego Indy and Kung-Fu Panda) and SFIV.

I haven't dabbled with my Live account yet, but for about 10 minutes or so in the Training Mode I tried to see how the 360 controller (No sign of the MadCatz Fightpad anywhere. :/) would fare and it turned out to be decent enough.

I'll probably post up my Gamertag tonight.

My friend has PS3 version and I played online on it against some randoms. Got 4/5 bars (yellow), and it played really well. Almost no lag at all. Like 5 milliseconds of lag max. So since Xbox Live is regarded as having even better online play, I'd expect 4/5 and 5/5 bars on Live to be pretty much perfect gameplay.
