Zangief: SPD everything, knock over and time an empty hop to land in front of him and super/ Ultra

I fought (and beat) Dr. Manhattan for the first time yesterday - not too bad on Medium Hard. Is that two second of anime all the ending you get? They must have had something else in the arcade version, right?

Dr. M's SPD is waaay cool though

The arcade endings were similar to other SF endings (a series of pictures) and I think I prefer those over the anime endings haha

<@SonicTempest> the anime cutscenes that bookend the arcade mode are awful btw
<@SonicTempest> they look like they were done by some second-rate studio who then outsourced it to a bunch of monkeys with crayons

Who SPDs the Watchmen?

Gill at Level 8 was way more frustrating to me..Seth isn't as bad. I beasted Seth at Lvl. 8 to get the World Champion achievement, and Dr. Manhattan had to pass over his PHD in woppin' over to Edmund Honda...first try too.

Yeah, the endings blow.

Well, it's done by Studio 4C and in their CV, they worked on a number of artistic one-shots/movies (which makes it ironic how the endings apparently turned out to be not-so artistic) and Detroit Metal City. They're also behind the "Ties that Bind" movie that came with the CE edition of the game.

As for Seth, it looks to me he's hardly the threat 3rd Strike Gill was. Just try fighting against him with Hugo or Twelve and tell me that's not hard.

But we'll see once I get the game.

I admittedly suck at SFIII (all versions) but I didn't have too hard a time beating Gill with Hugo. Shotos aside I think the only guys I could readily beat Gill with were Hugo and Remy.

On the other hand I don't think I'd even try fighting him with Twelve

If I'm ever bored and played 3s against CPU and got up to Gill I would just reset the game or just lose on purpose hahahhaha

Well ... DMC OVA wasn't exactly the pinnacle of animation was it hahahah

Fighting Gill with Twelve is awesome because you can morph in Gill!
