The PS2 Collections?

Anybody else have them? It's the closest I've ever been to having an ACTUAL AES/MVS

I have:

Last Blade 1 and 2
Garou
SNK Classics vol 1
World Heroes anthology (AKA Georgous)
Art of Fighting Anthology
Fatal Fury Battle Archives 1 and 2
Metal Slug Anthology

and non Neo Games
Samurai Spirits Tenka
Neo Geo Battle Colseium
KOF MI 2
KOF XI

I would say they're pretty accurate.

I have XI and NGBC, but I didn't bother with any of the collections. The only games I was really interested in were the MOTW and Last Blade collections, and while the first turned out alright the second has apparently been butchered.

I'll probably get '98 Ultimate Match though.

I haven't played them myself yet, but I searched and came upon an ON thread regarding the Last Blade collection. That's a shame to read, considering the port should've hardly taken much effort to accomplish.

My biggest complaint waa for Last Blade that the codes they said were for the hidden characters I have yet to make them work... I really feel the hidden characters should have either been unlockable of default. Plus there should have been ending collections...

Kof orochi collection has really bad emulation of the actual sound being to low. Even cranked up to highest volume its still not enough. No playable Orochi in Kof97.

Kof nests collection has no playable 1st form Krizilad in kof99evolution and kof2000/kof2001 are based off the dreamcast versions and I noticed some odd control problems that were not in the Ps2 versions.

Garou battle archives-I noticed u cant play as Ryo in ffspecial in 1 player but yamazaki and chonrei chonshu are playable via code in FFury 3. Other than that the emulation is really good.

Battle archives 2-I couldnt get out ex characters in rbout special even after I put in the arcade code (unless im doing something wrong). I beat Geese in arcade and he wasnt selectable after saving to memory card. Even though u can use him and ex characters in practice mode holding down a button and selecting them but that way wont work in1 player u have to get the code to work. Alfred is easily available in rb2. Other than that the emulation is great and theres blood etc.

Kof94 rebout- emulation is great of normal kof94.

Art of fighting collection excellent in jap and english versions

World heroes collection is excellent in the jap version- dont listen to the reviews the collection is well worth buying for death match in wh2 and worth buying just for wh perfect by itself.

Kof Neowave- has slowdown on all the stages sometimes and when u get all the characters saved to memory card sometimes theres an error or something and u lose all the characters or some of them.

Samurai Tenka- Its excellent in all aspects even though getting all the extra characters including animals is only available by defeating Shin Gaoh. Which is really frustrating.

NGBC and Kofxii are both excellent for the jap versions but dont buy the english versions. NGBC has spelling typos and kofxi has slowdown like hell against end boss and in the 3d stages.
