Google Chrome

www.google.com/chrome

Very lightweight and snappy, and it has an interesting take on tab management in a browser (treat each tab as a process as you would in an OS). Still somewhat feature-deficient though (no adblock, or even smooth scrolling). It does have a neat ability called "incognito sessions" - the ability to start up a session where none of your activities are recorded or logged. Seems like it would be handy for doing online banking or...other things..

Likes: the simplified menus
Dislikes: the up/down mouse scroll goes too fast, more google ads, and fuk that googleupdate.exe

Really really fast, but the faster loading is more than offset by slowdown in browsing caused by lack of Opera's mouse gestures and Speed dial features, which I've come to heavily rely on. I'm definitely keeping tabs on it though.
No one catches a Runner. That's kinda the point.

I hear it has some stupid stuff in EULA about owning everything you do with the browser, too. That said, I'm still messing around with it. If it had mouse gestures, I might switch to it, but I'm not 100% about the bookmarking/most used sites list over the speed dial. I also want to be able to customize the interface.

started messing around with this as I'm fed up of Opera's layout problems and facebook problems.

It's fast.

It now has a combined speed dial with recent bookmark list. Nice (but what a rip off of Opera!)

On the other hand it seems to reload every ON forum page and takes a while to do it!

My mouse can't even navigate using buttons assigned to IE back and forward (which also work in Opera!)

has potential .... will test more.

no drop down bars for multiple search engines? Cmon google, isn't there an easier way than typing "unlicensed anime torrent from animesuki"?
