Interesting..I figured Ralf was toned down..but I still thought some of his stuff could be used like the Neutral jump A etc. Even EX Kyo is toned down moreso?

I may not even enter EVO 98UM then, because I really need to sit down and learn this game..and one week or less IMO is not enough time to play the game to get ready for a tournament!

Playing OG 98 style works. I hold my own and then some against Roski and Blake, and they're stronger overall players who practice UM with mostly OG stuff (though I use Billy the way he's meant to be used)

You'll be fine, just learn the differences, it's not overly hard unless you're going to spam Krauser/Geese.

Thing is though Geese (Ex also), Choi and Krauser are gonna be my tournament teams..I do not like at all just to learn the tiers. I enjoy learning a game thoroughly inside and out, and I won't be able to do that within one week before the tournament. I will do my best, but I play to win, not to place really if I am into the game..

So I want to win...meaning I wanna know about EX Mai how to play her, I wanna have a few backup characters, I wanna learn all the systems, EX King, EX Billy, I wanna learn everybody..thats how I prepare..I don't just learn the tiers...

Alright, 2P is the top kof98 player of the world. Who is 1P? Damn it, Gunsmith, you really should re- arrange your ranking list.
I've wateched lots of ppl play on GGPO. I have to say most ppl on your GLOBAL RANK list really suck except yessterday.
To be honest I've never seen any world calss player in Europe or American. You should watch some top asian players play.
