[UM] EX Billy

Was it all just Shingo's dream?

I gotta say after finally getting to play some good players, I feel the same way.

Regular Billy is better overall.

I was giving people fits with Billy, but he had trouble with EX King, Billy seems to do really well against both versions of Geese.

Billy's going to find a permanent spot on my UM team, along with EX Mai, and possibly Big.

I kind of miss some of the stuff that made Billy good in 2k2 though, like a cancelable crouching B and being able to combo into dp+B from it and juggling after at the corner. 98 Billy had this tap C anti-roll move and uppercut, which are all nice, but he doesn't feel as offensive minded as the 2k2 version. 98 Billy is quite the beast at a distance though.

Billy can do that in 98.

Just yesterday in matchup I did jump D, close C, DP+B, Fire Wheel A.

I think crouching B can link to a DM. This isn't a no-skill Billy, but he definitely can compete.

Also stand C has anti-air properties now more then before, looks different to.

All this applies to both Billies.

Billy is missing his dwn-fwd A from 2k2 which would make him his strongest form.

That was 2k3 not 2k2. fwd+B is quicker.

Ah my bad, the dwnfwd+A was in 2k3. Was fwd+B always an overhead?

-You can (still) do d.B, close s.B, qcfx2+K DMs
-Strangely, the C version of the qcfx2+P DM does an extra hit
-As cool as it looks, the last and extra hit of the qcfx2+K SDM, does crap for damage.
-d.B, close S.B, f.A, Q.MAX, qcb+B (hits twice only) for a total of 6 hits.
--> you can also replace the qcb+B for a hyper hop jump C but the timing is more stringent, and you'll hit him on the way up leaving you vulnerable. Plus the qcb+B does more damage anyways.

f B was never a overhead until now(?).

It's only use was to go over ground projectiles.

If you can get in Billy Sweep range, his overhead/sweep game is rather retardedly effective, but that's a range a bit closer then Billy's sweet spot to me.
