Alien Swarm

It's free people. Get it while it lasts (maybe forever)!

You'll need Steam to play obviously, so far I played it on easy and it's pretty fun, but ammo runs out really fast, and parasites are annoying as hell. There's only 1 campaign divided into like 7-8 chapters.

I also downloaded the SDK. Apparently you can generate maps in-game as tiles (with a tool called Tilegen). It'll be interesting to see what will come out of this. Hopefully I can make a map worth playing before 2020.

Hook me up on Steam - penpen35 is the name. I suppose a few more guys would be getting as well. It'll be fun.

Ammo pickups are scarce, but one of the classes can deploy ammo if people are running low.

I kind of like this game too, although I haven't actually played it with humans yet. Anyone up for giving it a go?

I downloaded it and am interested in trying it out.

Is this a mic thing? If so I should probably just buy one... So whats the going type of mic - some sort of USB connection or what?

You can get a USB mic but most headsets will plug into the standard audio jacks on your PC's sound card.

Got the game yesterday, haven't had much time to try it out, but I'm up for a game. LiquidPewas is my steam ID.

D:

If you remember your e-mail address for the Steam ID you can try using that e-mail address to login.

If not you can see if this would help: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -DHXV-7272

Been playing this with some friends. It sucks that the game only ships with one campaign but Insane difficulty is pretty demanding - you can't take that many hits and the aliens are all over you. Really fun though; I wish there were more campaigns. Are there any good custom ones out there?
