What game(s) are you playing?

Decided to go on an Infinity Engine kick, so I reinstalled Baldur's Gate 2 and Icewind Dale. BG2 is absolutely my favourite game of all time, and all the other Infinity Engine games are great too. After I'm done with BG2, I'll run through Icewind Dale, then IWD2, and probably finish up with yet another runthrough of Planescape: Torment.

I also bought Gears 3 for some reason. Haven't cracked it open yet, not sure when I'll have time.

Currently finishing up 2's campaign so I can at least get a bead on the story. Beat 1 in two days, nearly 50% through 2's. But if you want to dig right in to 3, let me know.

Played it some today, but I can't say I'm a fan. I'm probably going to pass on this game. So much about it feels so awkward and sluggish. Maybe it helps if you're already familiar with the series, but I doubt I'd like it more if I started from the beginning considering this is supposed to be the "evolved" version.

I guess I'll just wait for UC3, at least I know I'll play that.

I find the multiplayer deathmatch to be slow and grinding or fast paced and brutal. There's really no middle ground that I can feel yet.

But Horde mode is fun.

My PSP finally arrived. Due to the size limitations of my 4GB memory stick, I have 2 PSP games and 4 PSX games.
PSP games are Dissidia: Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
PSX games are Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, Crash Bandicoot 3 and Intelligent Qube.
I think I'm set for now

I would suggest you get the PSP version of Final Fantasy Tactics, War of the Lions. The script was retranslated so it actually makes sense and it looks good formatted for the wider aspect ratio.

This is how character choice goes in Harmony of Despair: At first you pick the character that you like, but then you realize that they are ineffective, so you pick up Soma or Alucard because they are relatively easy to max out. Once you get good at the game and you'll start playing a Belmont, or maybe a magic-based character, which is fun but you'll need to grind their skills up to make them worthwhile, so you'll be spending a great deal of time in Survival Mode crouch-cancelling subweapons.

I'm using Shanoa as I rather liked her OoE combo of melee weapons (a little bit Soma) and magic (a little bit Charlotte). Of course I might actually enjoy said mix in HoD if I ever find any other weapons or spells...

Shanoa's spells can only be obtained by absorbing them from the Aliorumnas enemy (the ones that fly around and use spells, but not the witches), so she only has four different spells. While that does suck for variety, you won't need to grind as many skills. She has a similarly limited amount of regular attacks. The stone fists and reppukens can be found in boss chests in chapter 5 on normal. This level also has Aliorumnas, so have fun fighting Death, because you'll need to do it a lot. I think they added another attack in chapter 8 or 9 as well.

I updated to Duodecim and got Metal Gear Solid, at the expense of Crash 3 and Intelligent Qube (I actually deleted FFT fairly quickly). So now, it's just Duodecim, Birth By Sleep, Metal Gear Solid and Vagrant Story. It's not much, but hopefully it'll be enough to keep me entertained until I get another 28GB in memory stick form (4GB is nowhere near enough for all of my games, considering that converting the isos to csos did bugger-all compression).

Been playing Dark Souls a ton. I can't get enough of the game!

Also I started playing a few horror games for October on PS2. One of my favorites so far is Haunting Ground.
