Can't help you unfortunately. Last anime I watched was Gundam 00, and that was at the end of '08. I'm so out the loop.

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood shitloads better than the first filler series. Code Geass mech and drama.
History's greatest disciple kenichi funny fighting series even though it ends and is continued in the manga.....
Currently also watching Muteki Kanban musume hilarious fighting series i'm currently watching.
Full Metal Panic Fumoffu is a must watch if you want to laugh like crazy.

Re: recommend some anime..
you really should go through this thread. Start from last page and work backwards!
http://www.orochinagi.com/forums/viewto ... f=2&t=1133" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
locking this up but not before I say things seem a little thin on the ground but I'm trying out Seitokai no Ichizon which has some amusing references for the otaku.
Otherwise I'm watching exactly what Fuu was, according to his last post in that thread. Note I only watch 2 episodes a week, that's why it lasts me so long.
