I really miss some of the old toys that I used to own as a kid, but I don't see myself never opening them just so I could always sell them on eBay or something. The one thing great about toys is all the cherished memories and moments that they brought me when I was younger, and I doubt I'd ever have such memories if I had continue to keep them wrapped or unsealed.
The memories associated with playing with the toy is far more precious and valuable than any sort of monetary worth that the toy may accumulate when opened.

Because of the current Transformers revamp, I finally had the opportunity to not only relive a part of my childhood by tearing open an action figure, I'm also finally smart enough to MAKE IT TRANSFORM. (I was a dumb kindergartener...)
So yes, I'm all about using/abusing. I used to be all precious about things but I'd end up never really enjoying the stuff.
