Anyone remember 98 Tournament at Namco..

Does anyone here remember the kof 98 tournament held in Namco Wonderpark in UK during 1998..

I dont remember who won it, I know ryan hart did very well.
and they invited some guy from Hong Kong who was the 97 champ, and he also did very well..

I only watched the first 2 hours.. so i dont know the result..

Yeah man. That was a big one.
I remember the Cosplay tournament too.

All the KOF's lined up was a dream. I always wanted a Neo Geo organiser from the UFO catchers by the Neoprint photobooths at the front. Spent all my cash trying to get one!!

Was lucky to have a couple of years play at Namco before it closed.

Off topic: ha @ finally registering on this forum. I remember picking up one of the last copies of NeoGeo freak then getting some scans on the site around 2000(?)

Terence (from HK) won that 98 tournament, Ryan came 2nd. Managed to win a grudge match afterwards, I think! Terence was not 97 champ, he was like 3rd place in HK. His Benimaru was the first time I saw someone actually use him like a pro.
