Haohmaru's sprites and standing animation seems to be redone. I wonder if the same treatment was applied to the rest of his sprites...

Ebil Hedgehog: I think the Double Assault you need to execute, in order (for the 2nd char) to enter in Hyper Charge, is the special one (the one that takes some power bar), not the normal one.

It's still fine, I don't see anything broken.

The website doesn't mention anything about "special" double assaults...just one type which you can do when the "D-ASSAULT OK!" light is lit up.

Anyhow, I'm not going to jump to conclusions.

Well, I remember that, in the test reports, someone menctioned there are 2 kind of D Assault moves:

-When the background changes into a "blue" BG.
-When the BG doesn't change.

I've seen that in the vids, so... :0

No, the D-Assault where the background doesn't change is from the first build of the game that was shown at TGS 2004. The background was added more recently.

I'm pretty sure there's only one version of D-Assault in the game.

Or, judging from the vids I've seen, Mizuchi is way more aggressive (and with better attacks) than Orochi.

Mizuchi's portrait and a Lee vid is up @ the official site.

Lee looks like fun to play as, and strangely enough, both his zanretsu-ken like move (looks like the A version) and one of his normals causes a launch for tagging in an air combo. Weird.
