One thing that no-one seems to have mentioned is that Kyo has retained his dB dA, df+D -> cancel on first hit from NeoWave. Which can only be an improvement, really :P

i find the crouching HP + fd HK does a much better job.

I think Kyo's basically his 2k3 self, mostly.

I guess that's not saying much but that's what it really is.

Kyo gained a ground fireball which all of us pretty much know about, but in turn he lost both of his hcb+K moves. That's a trade-off which I don't think is good overall. I haven't tried whether his df+D's first hit is cancellable but it's sorta redrawn, and just like the recent KOFs the second hit of the df+D tends to miss even though Kyo's pushed slightly farther (Kyo users pretty much know what I mean, I guess).

I think that his Aragami chain got changed a bit though, the K followup after qcf+P, hcb+P changed into his f+B command move. I don't know whether it's an overhead or not. If it is then Kyo got a bit of mind game with this part of the chain.

Orochinagi goes a bit slower but it still connects after qcf+D,D.

His LDM is hcbx2+E, it's his infamous SDM grab from 2k1, just that it got totally new animations and you can see Kyo do his qcf+D,D when he's on fire, then finish with an Orochinagi. Damage wise it's okay, I guess. It just looks really cool.

Additional information (not from me)!

Kyo's Aragami chain gets a makeover, sorta. You still have the old stuff, except for the thing which I talked above (f+B after hcb+P).

I think listing a tree would be a bit easier.

Wow, he gains his HCB+K's as part of his chains, VERY interesting. I'm betting this will make him a bit more useful on teams, as I can imagine all of his moves would be useful to tag off of for at least one instance per character. Really glad to hear about the return of his HDM as his LDM; does he still give an evil look as he first grabs the opponent? I always liked that about that grab. :smile:

(Corner) Jump C, C, qcf DD, Qcf A, Dp C, SC to qcf*2 A, DC to Hcb*2 E.

(Iori as team mate) Jump C, C, Qcf C, Hcb C, AC/BD, (Iori now) Down A, Scum Gale, Stand C, [Qcb Punch*2, AC/BD, (Kyo now), Qcf A, Hcb Kick, Dp C] or [F+A, Maiden Masher. If Maiden masher ends near the corner, it is possible to juggle with Qcf*2 punch super.]

Wow that's just insane. Are you saying that Kyo can grab (with his LDM), even though the opponent is in the air? I'm guessing you dp+c at the very lowest climax.

Show me a video of this Combo if you can....... I would love to see how does kyo does QCF after the QCB*2 Punch of Iori............

plus i've tried quite a bit and still cant get qcfx2 A to cancel into LDM. Tried about 30 times. In 2 days... Yes i'm obsessed.
