Do you think the reason why Duolon joined his team is because Benimaru was previously teamed up with Lin? Is he weak or strong now? (I don't think Beni's gay.........he just acts a little feminine is all.....)

Most likely. Benimaru's gotten stuck in a role as the lead fighter against Ron, due to helping Lin against him in 2000. Then, in 2003, there was the special intro between Benimaru and Duo Lon in which Benimaru attacked him... Perhaps because he reminded him of Ron? So, now the two seem to have teamed up... It's strange... I'm mainly wondering what role Elizabeth plays in it all?

Well, Beni and Duo Lon met in KoF 2k3... Elizabeth, we have no way of knowing, since we know nothing about her... But how did Ash, Duo Lon, and Shen-wu meet?! Makes no sense... Though, still more than the pairing of Malin, Eiji, and Kasumi...

I wonder that myself, friend. How can two Chinese guys meet a guy from France? I have considered that maybe Ash lived in the French Quarter of Shanghai, but it seems weird. :? Maybe they met on the internet....... Who knows? Well, I would be a little irked if some dude wearing a leopard skin midriff tried to punch me......

For some reason, I think Malin does belong in that team... That team has a certain style about it that just seems to make sense to me. But, maybe we'll find out in that ending?

Anyway, back to Benimaru, chances are that he teams up with Duo Lon because of him teaming up in the past with Lin. Im wondering when this rivalry will end...

And is Duo Lon enemies with Lin or is he enemies with Ron? When ever I see Duo Lon sink into the ground like that, it mostly reminds me of Ron, so im guessing Duo Lon is one of Ron's disciples (or friends) or something. Seriously. That whole Lin and Ron thing, theres something about it that keeps me wondering wtf is going on... The storyline between Lin and Ron was boiling in 01, maybe something will happen between those 3... Well, I dont know, but SNK has done a good job of keeping me guessing.

Duo Lon is also after Ron. Ron basically betrayed the Hizoku Clan, so every Hizoku is after his head, which includes both Lin and Duo Lon.

In their KOF2003 intro, Benimaru attacks Duo Lon because he mistakens him for Ron. But now it seems that, after things get cleared up, they decide to team up to go after Ron (I can only imagine that he has taken Ron for his enemy too after befriending Lin in KOF2000).

Maybe Duo Lon could have been Ron's student, or something like that in the past, since they all come from the same clan. But now they're enemies. Duo Lon was clearly after Ron in his KOF2003 ending.

I imagine that K' wouldn't mind getting one in on Ron as well, simply due to his affiliations with NESTS. K' and Benimaru were also allies in '99, but I doubt that holds much weight over K's head. At any rate... I've always assumed that Duo Lon was a very high-ranking Hizoku ninja, which is why he's come to replace Lin as the Ron-hunter... And also why he seems to know such advanced techniques... Really, I'm hoping to see a ton of exposure for the Hizoku clan in the future... I wonder if Benimaru knows what he's getting into? Well, if it's not fighting evil gods or insane corporations, its netherworldly ninja clans, it seems...

i hate it that i live about an hour away from the only XI machine in sydney. anyway, i played with benimaru once, and he seems to have been horribly nerfed. so badly in fact, that i didnt bother to waste another dollar in choosing a team with him.

lightning fist only has one spark.

+a has a rather long start up and recovery, i cant seem to do the drill kick (air

+K) and he seems to generally have been made a lot slower.

is there anyone who can quickly point out the extent of his changes from 03?

B/D, d,u B/D is now punishable again instead of the OMGWTF '03 one

other than that, all I can see in the vids is that D version shinkuu katategoma still hits for 6 hits
