Just to remind everyone in the US who has been waiting - the PS2 version of KOF XI hits tomorrow, for the amazing price of $15.

Given the "quality" of the EU port of the game, I'm hoping the port doesn't have any issues (although I heard the US releases of AOF Anthology and FF Battle Archives Volume 1 didn't have any problems).

It seems most places are selling it for 15, but gamestop has it for 20. I hope that other places have it in stock.

I already have it in Japanese(Just need Geese and I have all the characters. Still need one more team picture to unlock), but I would like to read the endings in English. Damn. Is anyone else buying it?

Got my copy off Amazon (where else). Should get it sometime tomorrow.

OK, scratch that, Amazon is showing a November 13th release date for the game now. I guess they couldn't get away with not delaying this release after all

emm too many games this week? i know its not the big hit but why get it out THIS week.... any delay of any game this season is not because its not ready... well maybe brawl...

So not knowing about the latest delay I went to Gamestop today and asked the clerk (who was making a 'play date' for Halo 3) if King of Fighters XI came out.

He looked at me like I asked for "Baby Rapist Cleveland Steamer"


God, I hate Gamestop....

Oh well, a delayed KOF XI isn't too big a deal for me - since I'm still technically stuck in "last-gen" I don't really have any big games to take up my time
Plus the new date means it's releasing on the same day as NGBC. Unless of course THAT gets delayed too...

Gamestop is showing pre-ships coming in on 11/2/07 and I am thinking it might be a good idea to pre-order the damn thing before I get screwed. I need to get my hands on it if I want to go to Final Round 11 in march and not look too bad

Not sure how to say this, but GS sells SNK titles quite sneaky. so its a "buy it before its gone" sorta deal. Really dislike they way they're handling game titles like these lately. If its not Halo, why bother selling? *must be something in the caffiene they've been drinking.. bah tired of hearing it.

Yeah, the time I went looking for Neowave the day it hit stores they told me thet they don't even get small titles in unless there are preorders for them. I hate that, and the only reason to really preorder something is if there are bonuses. I lucked out and the other gamestop had a couple of copies, but yeah. Anyway, I think I'll just order it online.

This is exactly why I hate Gamestop/EB. You're a videogame store - the only thing you sell is freakin videogames. If anyone should get copies of lower profile titles it should be the specialized videogame stores. But nooooo, they're to busy pushing mega exposure titles like Madden, GTA, and Halo or overpriced used games. I could buy Halo 3 from 7-11 if I wanted (seriously, my local 7-11 had presales going) - why the fuck do I need to go to GS/EB for that!??

Game Crazy is better. I tried to reserve Fire Pro Wrestling Returns from Game Stop and they told me they weren't taking reservations for it. I tried three different stores and they all gave me the same answer: "We're only going to get it in limited quantities." Then I went to Game Crazy and they let me reserve a copy. No questions asked, other than "is it a good game?".
