He looks really good in the vids.
- Jump D is still awesome/abuse.

+K > A now bounces the opponent high into the air. Didn't see him juggle after it (which would be insane, if it was possible), but its still a great addition since its a free high/low wake up game. Might a counter only effect.
- d.B is now cancellable. This is huge. Gato has been scrubbified! No more trying to get the ridiculously difficult d.B> stand A> qcfX2+ P to connect. Combined with the jump D and his normal roll games, Gato's high/low games are going to be insane. d.B>d.A chain also *looks* easier now, though I could be wrong about that.
I'm guessing this now means that Gato can do d.B> LDM. Oooooh....

If is cancellable by supers only? Because if not I guess this also means that he can do d.B>
+B> D...

I don't think that his cr B is cancellable, the link with the DM was possible on MOTW and KOF 2003... it was difficult, but it worked...
I think that's what the gato player on the vids used...
but if it's really cancellable... OH MY SHIT!

Did I really see one of gato's counter hit making his oponent flying like MOTW??? from his distant attack (qcb K, A)...

erm. I was wrong =p
d.B *isn't* cancellable, it just recovers really fast this year. d.B> d.A is a lot easier this year.
d.B> Stand C (close) is now linkable.
+A can now be comboed after light attacks, and can be super cancelled...
d.B>d.A>
+A> Punch super can be done, but has to be started quite close.
+ K> A *always* knocks the opponent into the air, counter or not.
Stand A seems to have less range, but it could be just me.
Either LDM doesn't combo off light attacks anymore, or I'm too slow.
+P now hits the opponent during the 'step' part, like the
+K. In 2k3, it didn't hit.
+P> C grab seems to have been slightly weakened. I wasn't able to grab anyone out of the air, and I could've sworn and opponent teched out of it once.
Overall, except for the Roll> Grab, Gato seems to have been strengthened quite a bit.

finnaly got to play the game
anyway I tried to do D(1hit) qcbB,C qcfx2 A and it didnt connect, sad since that was my bread and butter combo in 2003,Not sure if A or B or dB might connect too.
However, I tried qcbB,B qcfx2A and worked fine though its not as good since it aint Overhead and might miss at times.
qcbA is now a really nice move since gato didnt have any long range attacks before.
does it still have invincibility(im not even sure it had in 2k3)?
I think qcfx2 K has improved a bit.

i skimmed the pages, and i dont' think anyone mentioned;
s.d(2hits), c.b XX(or link?) punch super
does any know if s.C is hit/confirmable into super?

I guess in XI BnB would be stand D (2 hits),
B, super or just
B x2 into super
stand D (1 hit),
+B, B, stand D,
X2 +K combo in the corner still works
he stores supers amazingly fast, with
+B, A so he's a good choice to go first

saw this combo at my place there.. at the corner..
(kula) stand C(2 hits),
B, fw D, (sc) BD/AC, (Gato) opponent in the air,
b,b (4 times) stand D(1 hit),
x2 b.
Another for Gato,
Jump B,stand D(1 hit),qcb B, B,
x2 C.

Yup saw that combo on the earlier henvoke or trf vids.
combo can be done with any character with a launcher (ie: vanessa's
+C, malin's uppercut super, powerdunk etc)
I also find its easier to end the combo with gato's qcfx2 D rather than B (dont ask me why but it just hits more often for me)

d.BX 2> A Palm Super> LDM. LDM has to be done fast, otherwise the opponent flies off and you waste 2 levels+ 1 skill.
Between his A Palm Super and B Uppercut super, Gato with levels has nightmarish defence. A Palm super is anti hop, anti down B, anti-poke. B Uppercut kills all air attacks.
Random fact: Gato's air counter does *not* counter against Oswald's Moonslasher super. Ouch.

+K> A (air fireball).
