SNK Line Up & #KOF98 Ultimate Match Final Edition Changes

So if you haven’t read already, SNK revealed their line up for the last quarter of 2014 and first of 2015.

Allow us to explain more about these titles.

SISTER QUEST

This is actually a slot-RPG! Much like the pachinko machines, guide the heroes through the quest by winning at slots, with cameos from Terry, Kyo, Metal Slug and Samurai Shodown. To clarify, it will be Sister Quest not Sister Quest 2 as previously reported.

BEAST BUSTERS

This was originally a Lightgun FPS on the Hyper Neo Geo 64! The first used 2D sprites while the sequel used 3D models. This looks to be a complete remake, which will probably be tap to shoot them monsters on the smartphones. Again, there will be cameos or direct interaction from the KOF world!

METAL SLUG X

This is a remake of Metal Slug 2, one of the favourites of the series! You can pre-order it now on STEAM!

METAL SLUG 3

Already available on STEAM, now making its way to PS3, PS4 and PSV with online co-op play!!

KING MONSTER

I can only suspect this is actually the title that we know as KING OF THE MONSTERS, most likely with a graphical upgrade (or not). Control a monster and destroy, er I mean SAVE cities from the invading monsters! GO ON A RAMPAGE!

Ok, I cannot guess anything about this one, apart from the description that says it’s an RPG. It could well be an upgrade of the orginal platform scroller, with levelling up.

Some of you cried, pleaded, but for now, you can’t have it on PS3. It’s been on PS2 for years. It is also on Xbox Live.
